Walton has been employed at Union University in Jackson since 1980 teaching economics.  He is currently University Professor of Economics.  He served as Interim Dean for the McAfee School of Business from 2001 through June, 2004.  Before teaching at Union, the Padelfords served as staff members with Campus Crusade for Christ in the U.S. and Latin America.  He has traveled and taught extensively

in Latin America.

Ross is currently Minister of Discipleship at Christ Community Church. He is  also self-employed through professional painting and remodeling/carpentry.  Prior to this, Ross served in various ministry positions such as houseparent at Youthtown of Tennessee, youth pastor at a Korean church in Dallas TX, and Executive Director of Downtown Discipleship Ministries (DDM), a ministry that he founded through CCC before DDM became a non-profit organization.  DDM’s main ministry was a small private Christian school for children in Jackson from lower income families.

Ross Guthrie

Kathryn is a hospice nurse with Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Sarah has completed a Masters degree in Education at Union University and currently teaches in Goodlettsville, TN while taking courses at the Nashville School of Law. Her husband is Brian Carr. Anne Marie graduated from Belmont University in piano performance and German.  She currently studies at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Chris is an I.T. employee of Union University, where he has worked for eight years.  He has played a role in helping plan and lead the direction of worship at Christ Community Church for several years, contributing to both musical and liturgical planning.  Chris is also a musician and song-writer, and often helps accompany the services musically.  He has also preached and taught in Ethiopia where he has made two mission trips through Indigenous Outreach Intl.

 

Prior to his time at CCC, his ministry mostly involved preaching and teaching at area churches.  He has also been involved in choral music since an early age and has experience leading choir.  

 

He is a Union University graduate with a B.A. in Religion and History, and also has worked toward a seminary degree.
