Christ Community Church is an elder-led church, in accordance to 1 Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5. The elders are Dennis Williams, Craig Davis, and Chris Johnson, with Dr. Walton Padelford, serving as Elder Emeritus.

Craig Davis has been a member of the worship team at Christ Community Church since the early years of the millennium. He has served as board member for Indigenous Outreach International and Downtown Discipleship Ministries, and for fourteen years was president of Salem Home Foundation. He was ordained as elder in March 2017. He has two daughters, Kathryn and Mary, and worked for twenty years in newspapers. He has written several books of scripture-based fiction, and has published two Bible studies.
Pastor of Liturgy and Spiritual Formation
Chris serves as Pastor of Liturgy for CCC, and has a heart for Biblical and historical liturgical worshhip practices. He has played a role in helping plan and lead the direction of worship at Christ Community Church for several years. Chris also teaches and preaches, and is a musician and song-writer. He has also preached and taught in Ethiopia where he has made two mission trips through Indigenous Outreach Intl. He is also an employee of Union University where he has served for 16 years. Prior to his time at CCC, his ministry mostly involved preaching and teaching at area churches. He has also been involved in choral music since an early age and has experience leading choir. He is a Union University graduate.

Walton has been employed at Union University in Jackson since 1980 teaching economics. He is currently University Professor of Economics. He served as Interim Dean for the McAfee School of Business from 2001 through June, 2004. Before teaching at Union, the Padelfords served as staff members with Campus Crusade for Christ in the U.S. and Latin America. He has traveled and taught extensively in Latin America.

Kathryn is a hospice nurse with Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Sarah has completed a Masters degree in Education at Union University and currently teaches in Goodlettsville, TN while taking courses at the Nashville School of Law. Her husband is Brian Carr. Anne Marie graduated from Belmont University in piano performance and German. She currently studies at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
